Disability Services Day is the time for us to celebrate the direct care workforce and make a big impact. Together, our voices make a statement. The more meetings we have with legislators, the more attention our issues will receive. Speak up for our services, because our future depends on you!

When is Disability Services Day?
Tuesday, March 10

Where do we meet?
We rally in the Capitol Rotunda from 10am to 11am.

How do I meet with my legislator?
Appointments have been organized for after the rally, starting at 11am. Make sure you've submitted your registration form!

Is there a deadline for registration?
Yes, the last day to submit registration forms is Monday, February 17.

Designs for the Future

What do you see in the future of services?

It's time for our annual button contest for Disability Services Day at the Capitol! Each year, we receive amazing artwork from self-advocates for our Day at the Capitol buttons and two winners are selected. Those winning designs are made into buttons and we wear them proudly on our rally day! This year is ARRM's 50th anniversary, so we are asking for submissions related to the future of services.

Show us your artwork!

We are now accepting designs for the 2020 button contest and we want to hear from you! Artists can use this button template and either mail it or email it to ARRM. All required details are listed on the template form. Button submissions are due by Monday, February 3rd. We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Let's Rally for Day at the Capitol 2020!

Let's make an impact this March!

Disability Services Day at the Capitol, Hosted by ARRM and MOHR will be on Tuesday, March 10, and you should be there! We will meet at 10:00am and rally in the Capitol Rotunda in support of home and community-based services. This rally will celebrate all your achievements over the past year, and you have a lot to be proud of! Here are some standout accomplishments from 2019: 

• Over 1,200 advocates attended the 2019 Day at the Capitol
• Over 60 site visits were held across the state
• Nearly 100 ARRM Cares Winners and Nominees were publicly recognized
• The Competitive Workforce Factor of 4.7% was passed

You made your voice heard in 2019. So let's continue that trend in 2020!
