Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) deserve thanks every day of the year for the work that they do. They don't just change lives -- they help make the kinds of lives that people with disabilities want to live. They work long, at times hard hours doing an amazing variety of jobs, all while forming close, trusting bonds with the people they support and their families.
Bruce Nelson, ARRM's former CEO, has worked to advocate on behalf of DSPs for more than two decades because he knows how much gratitude these professionals deserve. His passion is fueled by their inspiring model.
For DSP Recognition Week, we say thank you to Minnesota's more than 80,000 DSPs who are heroes to the people they serve and to our communities.
Visit ARRM's Facebook page and tell us about a DSP hero you know.
