ARRM Organizational member Hammer Residences has earned the Star Tribune's Top Workplace Award for the fifth straight year. The 91-year-old nonprofit serving adults and children with developmental disabilities throughout the Twin Cities is one of only 14 organizations that have won the honor in each of the five years of the award’s history, and this year ranked 28th in the midsize company listing.
Produced by the same team that compiles the Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in the state based on employee opinions about organizational health, job expectations and employee engagement. The analysis included responses from nearly 59,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations. Over 300 organizations participated in this year’s survey.
“Receiving this honor for the fifth straight year is a truly remarkable testament to our organization and employees,” said CEO John Estrem. “Hammer’s mission, to provide adults and children with developmental disabilities the opportunity to experience life to its fullest, is demonstrated daily through the work of our employees. This award confirms how strongly our entire organization shares this belief. Our culture has always been focused around this common goal and vision.”
